...in Jesus Christ, the promised Messiah, the only begotten Son of God, and the visible image of the invisible God. We believe that He became man without ceasing to be God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful man. We believe that He accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross and by His physical resurrection from the dead. We believe that Jesus ascended into heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God. WE BELIEVE
...in the Holy Spirit who comes forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, reveal all truth, bring about righteousness, and judgment. He regenerates, sanctifies, and empowers all who believe in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Christ and He is a teacher, guide, counselor, friend, and helper. ...in the Bible, God's Holy Word. We believe God inspired the original writings of the Scripture and because of that we accept the Bible as the final authority for all matters of faith and Christian living. WE BELIEVE
...man and woman were created in the image of God. Man’s willful disobedience has vandalized the image of God in man and caused a hostile separation between God and man. Man is completely and pervasively sinful apart from God and without any hope of repairing the breech that exists. (Genesis 2:15-17; Genesis 3:19; Romans 3:23; 5:12; James 1:14-15)
WE BELIEVE
...in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The gospel is the power of God for the salvation of those who believe in Jesus Christ. Man is saved and secured by God’s grace alone through faith alone and not by any works generated by the man. (Acts 4:12; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 1:12, Romans 6:23; 1 Peter 1:18-19; Ephesians 1:7)
WE BELIEVE
...in the Church of Jesus Christ. The church is a vital community of diverse believers saved by God’s grace, with Jesus Christ as the Head. This community of believers serves as a witness to Godʼs “now” and “coming” kingdom. We believe this witness happens as the community is nurtured through the teaching of the Word, participating in the Lord’s Supper, baptism, fellowship, prayer, and acts of love, justice and service. The church is God’s chosen vessel through which the Gospel of Jesus Christ is given to the world. We believe the church should be engaged in making disciples of both her neighbors and every nation.
